Flossie, Bubba, Me, John and Jerry use to play truth or dare all the time. Well it was more like who could eat or drink the most disgusting thing in the fridge. we would mix everything we could think of and we would even drink vinager. Of course it was funny to mess with each other when we were sleeping. One time John, bubba, and flossie poured vinager in my mouth when i was sleeping and another time bubba mixed a concoction and we smeared it all over john's face. Funny times. We were allways up to something. One time we dared bubba to drink dad's homemade maze but thank god mom came out and stopped us. But bubba was going to do it. I found a picture the other day that I took way back when of bubba john jerry and flossie. It really made my heart heavy. But we had some great and silly times. -tootie

I was just thinking of the Christmas we spent in Miami. We had nothing to do Christmas day, so we figured we would go hunt gators in the everglades. Once we found a nice dirty back road to start our hunt...we got the Chevy Thang stuck in a mud hole...only to be rescued by TJ and Idaho a few hours later. It was bad enough that we couldn't make it home to our families...but to spend our first Christmas together in the middle of no where in the mud! Wow! Miss you hun.

HEY YOU...I WAS JUST THINKING OF HOW MUCH FUN WE HAD AT THE BLUE HOLE AFTER YOU GRADUATED. I ALWAYS KNEW WITH YOU, IT WOULD BE A BLAST. THER WERE SO MANY GREAT MEMORIES WITH YOU, SOME I WILL NOT MENTION, MIGHT GET ME IN TROUBLE,LOL. JUST KIDDING! I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SAY IT ENOUGH. I MISS YOU LITTLE BROTHER,SO MUCH! I'D GIVE ANYTHING IF YOU WERE STILL HERE WITH US. THIS IS JUST NOT RIGHT. PLEASE CONTINUE TO HELP US GET THROUGH THIS AND MAKE EACH DAY GET A LITTLE EASIER, PLEASE! IT'S SO HARD BECAUSE EVERY DAY IS A REMINDER OF WHAT A SPECIAL PERSON YOU ARE TO ME ,AND I JUST MISS ALL THE GREAT TIMES WE HAD. THE KIDS MISS YOU SOOOO MUCH, THAT JUST KILLS ME THAT THEY DON'T HAVE YOU ANYMORE TO DO THE DARING THINGS YOU SECRETLY DID WITH THEM, THEN HAILEY WOULD USUALLY TELL ON HERSELF. I DIDN'T MIND BECAUSE I KNEW YOU WEREN'T GONNA LET ANYTHING HAPPEN TO THEM. I LOVE YOU FOR ALL TIME

We had so many great memories together...Miami was a blast & so was Boston. If it hadn't been for you, I wouldn't have been able to spend so much time out there exploring. If I had to pick...I think the best memory would be...getting kicked out of Canada! Oh Good times, good times!!! Thank you!

bubba...i was thinking of that time at the old higgins house when you were probably 2 years old, we were outside in the front yard playing, and them 2 doberman's started running from across the street headed right for us. just in the nick of time, our trusty old coon dog(can't remember his name right now), came out from the clear blue, and fought them crazy dogs. he sent them home with their tail between their legs. that was so awesome. i will never forget how he saved us. i love you so much!!!!

okay are you all ready for this memory. And, yes I'm telling it over the computer only because I'm still scared I'll get in trouble by butch. It was when ya'll lived in the old house behind the car wash. Bubba and me were so young, maybe somewhere around 3 or 4, i'm not sure. I had to go to the restroom and Merl told me not to put toliet paper in the toilet. Well i tinkled and of course i put tp in the toliet. I was so scare that aunt Merl would get mad that i didn't flush and went and told Bubba. He said he had an idea. So he went to Butch's drawer in there bedroom and got out a glove, and no not rubber gloves, Butch's winter gloves. He came back to the bathroom and keept dipping the glove in until he got all the toliet paper out. Then without even washing the glove he went and put it back in butch's drawer. He said that it would be alright and that it would dry out before he needed them. So, Bubba saved the day , Merl wasn't mad and then Butch would just eventually wonder why his glove was damp and smelly. We never told cause we knew we would get in trouble. Sorry I told on you bubba. love you. -tootie

When Bubba was just a little fellow, Jeff and I were with him sitting on an old waterbed we had in Milford and Bubba looked at us all and said, ONE, TWO, THREE...THREE BROTHERS...the phrase has been a constant in our lives since then because we would all tease him about that moment ever since...He will always be the third brother and a very important member of our little team. We love ya brother....

Bubba I have you to partially thank for little Nick's love of beer..He'll never forget Bubba, who when Momma wasn't looking could get a taste of that cold frosty beverage..that maybe his only memory of you..but it is one he talks of weekly now, lol.
We'll see u in heaven..and have that cold frosty beverage...of course mine will be the rootbeer kind, lol

There are many memories that I have of Bubba. I remember us saying "I want my Bubba" to each other for some stupid reason and then laughing. I'll always remember the times we partied together at the fight club, the blue hole, and the triangle.I also remember the time in high school when we watched Mallrats. How could I ever forget the weenie quesadillas that Leona mentioned? I also remember driving in my old brown car with you and Michael. I let you drive it and you tried to drive it up a hill and we only made it halfway up. That was the worst car ever. I'll always remember the times I hung out with you, Wesley, and Brian. I will always remember you having a smile on your face. You were always happy and lived life to the fullest. You were a great guy. You will always be missed. Love you.

Thanks flossie. I forgot about that scream. It was the greatest. No matter how scared everyone was we would all stop and laugh at bubbas reaction. One time in high school I took my parents truck out. I was driving and flossie and our other friend were in the middle and bubba was by the passenger door. I gassed it around a curve and ofcourse we skidded sideways and almost hit a sign. I didn't scream cause i was busy handling the truck. And we didn't actually hit anything. But then I remembered that I had heard one of the girls screaming really loud, until I looked down and Bubba was basically sitting in mine and Flossie's laps. I looked at Flossie and Angela and said "Ya'll aren't the ones that screamed are you?" I looked DOWN AT BUBBA, and he just flashed that huge Bubba smile. I had never in my life seen anyone move that fast. Years later we hardly talk about it as the time i almost wrecked but, instead, remember that time bubba eneded up in our laps. See he even made almost wrecking something fun. Sorry for the embarrasing story Bubba.

Are you ready for an adventure!! Bubba always said that. You really were in for an adventure, if you were with him. I have so many memories of Bubba. I've been waiting to write something. I wanted to share the best memories with everyone, so everyone could see the wonderful guy i see. But everyone that knew bubba knows how great he was. I've been talking to people i work with that didn't know bubba. I describe him as a little shit. He was! i love him and he will always be my favorite person. He was my protector. When we were in 2nd grade, he beat this kid up for me. This boy was chasing me around the room trying to kiss me. I was crying, so bubba got mad and beat him up. He always protected me and took care of me. That doesn't mean that he wouldn't make fun of me and trip me everytime he saw me. Although that only ended with me hurting him.haha. LOL Bubba would kill me, but i have to say this. Bubba screamed like a girl!! I mean the full throw your arms in the air, scream, and run. I always made fun of him for that. I love you and miss you!!
your favorite cousin- shoshie :)

I WILL HOLD ON TO THAT LAST WEEKEND WE HAD TOGETHER TILL MY DYING DAY. I AM GRATEFUL THAT WE HAD THE CHANCE TO SPEND THAT TIME TOGETHER. WE HAD SUCH A BLAST WITH YOU AND JENNIFER, AS WE ALWAYS DID WHEN YOU CAME TO VISIT. THANK YOU FOR THAT. JENNIFER WILL ALWAYS BE SPECIAL TO ALL OF US AND WE PRAY THAT SHE WILL STAY IN OUR LIVES FOREVER, NO MATTER WHAT. SHE IS OUR FAMILY FOREVER. I'VE NEVER SEEN SUCH A BOND IN 2 PEOPLE AS WE WERE SO BLESSED TO SEE IN YOU AND HER. IT WAS AMAZING! IT BREAKS MY HEART TO SEE SUCH A TRAGIC LOVE STORY. I AM SO SORRY.I KNOW HOW HAPPY AND PROUD OF HER THAT YOU WERE. I LOVE YOU FOR ETERNITY.....

I'll never forget that time when we were on the crappiest schedule because at the time we weren't fully qualified at Station Miami, and we left on a Friday night to go party it up in Key West for Fantasy Fest, had a blast that night (it was crazy), and had to drive back Saturday morning for duty at 0730! That's just one of the many, many memories I'll always have of you. It was always fun, and I remember the first time we met- it was like we already knew eachother. You had a special charisma about you O.D. and that darn smile! You were one of the best and most sincere friends I've been fortunate enough to have in my life, and I loved you like a brother- still do & always will. I will never forget you. You will always be in my heart... rest in peace my friend. I love ya!

OMG .. there are 3 memories that I think of and immediately smile -- Homecoming when Bubba escorted Kim ... all those 100's of Christmas cookies I made every year for their entire class ... and the weenie quesadillas he made or should I say "perfected" at Ron's when everyone was starving and couldn't find "normal" food to eat! Nobody makes weenie quesadillas!! ... only Bubba would come up with something crazy like that!

I never met Othel I however had the opportunity to meet and converse with his brother Jeff this evening. He told a friend and I the very tragic story about his death and we we just absolutley speechless. We were all pretty much in tears and he left the restaurant all of a sudden and we didn't know what to do we were still in shock really. We just wanted to say to the family we are sorry for your loss and may God bless you and help each of you through out this difficult time your in my thoughts and prayers as well as Othel. I never had the privalege to meet Othel however this evening I did meet his brother Jeff when he came into the resteraunt that I work at. He told me and a friend the story of a hero who had lost his life. It left the both of completely speechless. Othel truly was a hero, and the story that was told by his brother will be with me always. From what I gathered he was an amazing person. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone that knew Othel and the lives that Othel has touched as they go through this hard time. R.I.P. Othel Smith!!

There are so many memories with Bubba Bear, that I wouldn't know where to start. One thing is for sure it was always a blast. I've know bubba before we both could talk. He was my "almost cousin". That's how we'd sometimes explain it anyways, you know, instead of my cousin's cousin. When we were younger bubba was always into something. Wether we were at the creek or crawfishing we always came back with a story of someting bubba did. He didn't even have to leave the yard to have an adventure. Throwing knives with john or having a paper fight with me and flossie, nothing was ever normal when Bubba was there. He had a very contageous energy. Bubba was a great example of how we should live life to the fullest. Even though he's not here his light isn't out nor will it ever be. Bubba you'r the best almost cousin I've ever had. :) Love you!-tootie

My memories of you will always stay close to my heart.
I will always remember how shy you were when you were little, I could pick on you and embarrass you so easily, bet I still could:) That sweet, innocent yet mischievous smile you had, I will never ever forget. You grew up right before my eyes into a handsome man. Once a shy boy, turned into an adventurous, not afraid of anything, happy guy.
I spoke to you not long ago, and those words, I will always take to heart and you know what they were.
I will NEVER forget you Bubba!!!
